Grace to you and peace
from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,
4 the one who gave himself for our sins
so that he might deliver us from this present evil age,
according to the will of our God and Father,
5 to him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.*
Do your eyes see the power of this present evil age all around you? Do you feel it with your spirit and hear it in your ears? I’m sure you do because it is inescapable and its voice shouts intimidating fear and death to you.
Its power is real. Undeniable. But its not the last word. God has the last word, always, and He has delivered us from its grip.
Read those verses again and believe. BELIEVE. And let your lips speak its truth as your own testimony, “the one who gave Himself for MY sins so that He might deliver ME from this present evil age, according to the will of MY God and Father.”
Choose His peace, and in that process, let go of your own will and expectations and find your wholeness in Jesus your Lord – – regardless of what is to come.
