You may already know that Elaine entered into the presence of Jesus at 6:55 this morning in the living room of our home. I was with her, and it was all so peaceful. I am grateful.
You will see in the “Obituary, The Message,” that the services are as follows:
– Calling hours on Sunday afternoon the 25th, 3:00-6:00 at Fairlawn Mennonite Church, 8520 Emerson Rd., Apple Creek, OH 44606
– Monday, 9:00, Private burial at Pleasant View Mennonite Church, in North Lawrence, OH
– Memorial service at Fairlawn at 11:00.

How could a person be angry with God, when it is Satan who brought pain and death (present and eternal) upon us, after which God provided a way for us to experience Life (present and eternal) through Jesus our Savior, even in this broken world? Elaine is experiencing the fullness of that Life right now in a way that I can only look forward to.
I praise Him for His goodness in the face of the realities of this world that is so defiled by Satan’s rule.
I am weak but He is strong.

Jerry and I offer our deep sympathies to you and your family. May His sweet peace carry you all. We are so glad Elaine is now free from pain. She lived her life so well. It was our honor to have met her.
