25-32, Eyes to See, or Not!

It seems that few in the Church, including leaders, are aware of the spiritual implications of political and natural events and the technological advancements of our Day. We see the supposed peace-making successes, and most either marvel at the savvy of the one who Israel calls “The Prince of Peace,” or dismiss it as irrelevant to life in America.

It’s neither – it’s deeply spiritual and it matters for all, for now and for eternity. It is evidence of the battle in the heavenlies between the two spirit kingdoms. There is only one Prince of Peace and His Name is Jesus. It is telling, that any man would receive such accolades for himself.

Today’s organized church is so spiritually blind that we are easily deceived by the words and actions of political leaders whose focus and direction is leading us straight into everything that scripture warns of for the Last Days. We blindly follow them because they propose to perpetuate our freedom to pursue the American Dream, which we treasure more highly than the righteousness, peace and joy of the Kingdom of God. Many are like sheep being led to the slaughter – except that in this case they are not innocent.

Foolish we are. So very foolish. Pastors who speak such truths are likely to be replaced because of world-loving parishioners whose influence prevails. Even Sunday School members who voice such concerns can be called before the pastor and elders and forbidden to attend any class in their church.

If you read I Corinthians 2:12-16 you will understand why some can see what’s going on around us and others can’t. It’s not complicated. https://biblia.com/bible/niv2011/1-corinthians/2/12-16

I fear that Matthew 13:13-15 describes much of today’s church more than we want to admit. https://biblia.com/bible/esv/matthew/13/13-15

The time is short!
